Supply Store¶
Buy fabrication supplies inside Stone Project, or sell your catalog through the Supplier Portal.
Availability: Pro fabricators (buyer) · US suppliers (seller portal)
Overview¶
The Supply Store is a B2B marketplace for shop supplies — adhesives, blades, tooling, consumables — and stone slabs sold by distributors. It is separate from:
- The remnant marketplace (buying/selling stone pieces between fabricators)
- Suppliers in CRM/procurement (your slab distributors for purchasing inventory)
| Role | Where | What you do |
|---|---|---|
| Fabricator (buyer) | Flutter/Web app → Supply Chain → Supply Store | Browse, cart, Stripe checkout, track orders |
| Vendor (seller) | Web Supplier Portal (/supplier) |
Register, list products, ship orders, payouts |
| Affiliate partner | Partner Portal (/partners) |
Refer Stone Project subscriptions (not Supply Store) |
For fabricators — buying supplies¶
Access¶
- Sign in to Stone Project as a fabricator with an active company.
- Open the sidebar → Supply Chain → Supply Store.
- Your user needs the
marketplace.purchasepermission (enabled by default for owners; assign in Team → Permissions).
Shopping flow¶
- Browse — search, filter by category or product type (Supplies vs Slabs), sort by price, name, or slab area.
- Product detail — view images, stock, dimensions (for slabs), flat freight per slab, and seller.
- Cart — persisted per company on the device; one checkout per supplier at a time. Individual slabs are limited to quantity 1.
- Checkout — enter shipping address → Stripe hosted payment.
- Orders — Supply Store → orders icon; track status (paid, shipped, delivered).
Slabs vs supplies¶
| Type | Examples | Shipping |
|---|---|---|
| Supply | Adhesives, blades, tooling | Supplier flat rate or calculated US zone-and-weight estimate |
| Slab | Granite, quartz, porcelain sheets | Fixed freight per slab set on each product |
Slab listings can be individual (one unique sheet, qty 1) or catalog (multiple units in stock). After an individual slab sells, it is automatically removed from the catalog.
Order statuses¶
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending payment | Checkout started, awaiting Stripe |
| Paid | Payment captured; supplier notified |
| Shipped | Tracking number available |
| Delivered | Order complete |
| Cancelled / Refunded | Order voided or refunded |
For suppliers — selling on the store¶
The supplier experience is a web portal (English, US market), not inside the mobile app.
Choose how to prepare your first listings¶
Already signed up? Sign in to your supplier account and choose the route that matches what you have:
| What you have | Start here |
|---|---|
| One blade, adhesive, sink or other supply | Save your first supply product |
| One slab or a repeatable stone material | Add slab sizes |
| A WooCommerce, Shopify or Wix supply catalog | Connect your online store |
| A spreadsheet, slab catalog or another inventory system | Request help importing it |
| Products saved already, but none visible to buyers | Find your drafts, then finish setup |
Start with drafts while you prepare payment and shipping settings. An import request asks for help; it does not create or publish a catalog immediately. For stone sheets, read Importing a slab catalog before connecting a store: the connectors currently create supply listings.
Getting started¶
- Go to Supplier registration (or sign in with Google).
- Submit your company details. Most applications are reviewed by the Stone Project team and start as pending; if you came from an invitation we sent to your company e-mail, the account is approved right away.
- The setup wizard opens on Add your first product. Save a slab, remnant or supply as a draft to complete this step; the draft stays private and cannot be purchased. Completing this step does not publish your catalog. You can also request help importing a spreadsheet or existing catalog instead of retyping it.
- The wizard then walks you through business profile, address, shipping, plan and payments. You can skip ahead and come back later from Dashboard → Start setup. If you choose calculated shipping, complete your business address before publishing.
- Once your account is approved, payments are enabled and shipping is ready, open Products, review your drafts and choose Publish (draft → active). These active listings become visible to fabricators. Choose Supply or Slab when creating a product.
For slab products, enter dimensions (L×W×thickness), material, stone type, and a flat freight amount per slab. Individual slabs must have stock quantity 1.
Let a colleague prepare your catalog¶
If someone else manages your product list, invite them to the same supplier account instead of sharing your password or registering the business again. For an approved supplier account, the owner opens Team → Add someone, enters the colleague's Name and Email, then selects Send invite.
The colleague receives an e-mail to choose their own password, or can use Google sign-in with that same address. They work with your existing catalog under Products and Online store, so they can prepare drafts while you finish setup. Return to Team to check their membership and Last sign-in; a row appearing there alone does not mean they have signed in.
This is shared supplier-account access: members can see the catalog, orders and payouts. It is not a catalog-only role or the fabricator app's configurable team permissions. Invite only someone who should have that access. The owner can use Remove beside the member to revoke access to this supplier account. Inviting someone does not complete payment setup or publish your drafts.
Return to your supplier account¶
Already registered? Open Supplier sign-in with the e-mail address you used for that account. If you joined with Google, choose Continue with Google and select the same Google account. The fabricator app and the affiliate portal have separate sign-in flows; use the Supplier Portal to return to your catalog. You do not need to register your business again.
If you forgot your password:
- Select Forgot password?, enter your supplier account's e-mail address and select Send reset link.
- Check that mailbox, including spam/junk. The confirmation says If that email exists, a reset link has been sent. It does not confirm that the address has an account. If nothing arrives, check the address against your original signup.
- Open the reset e-mail and choose a new password of at least eight characters; enter it again in Confirm new password, then select Reset password. If the link has expired, request a fresh one from Forgot password?.
- Return to Sign in with the new password, then open Setup to continue onboarding or Products to review your drafts.
Resume setup and check what still needs you¶
Open Setup in the sidebar. Select a step to return to it, or select Finish to see the remaining steps together. Online store is optional: you do not need an existing ecommerce website to sell your catalog here.
Under Payments, choose Set up payments with Stripe, or Resume Stripe setup if you have already started. Enter business and bank information only in Stripe's setup flow, not in a catalog import request or an e-mail. You can use Continue later to return to the Dashboard and prepare drafts.
Submitting your details can complete the Payments step while Stripe is still verifying them. A completed progress counter or Finish setup does not mean your products are published or payments are enabled. If you see Stripe is verifying your information, review Stripe still needs when shown and use Resume Stripe setup to supply anything requested. Once payments are enabled, review shipping and publish your chosen drafts under Products.
Save your first supply product¶
You can prepare a blade, adhesive, sink or other supply item before completing Stripe. Saving a draft does not make it available for purchase. To review new listings first, leave Settings → Publish new products automatically unchecked. When enabled, new listings can go live immediately if approval, payments and shipping are ready.
- Open Products → New Product and choose Supply (consumables & tools).
- Enter the Name and Price (USD) for the unit you sell. Use the description to make pack quantities and specifications clear. Category, brand and SKU help identify the item; Compare-at price is optional and must exceed the selling price. The minimum product price is $0.50 USD, including drafts: zero or $0.25 will not save. Do not use zero as a placeholder for “contact us for pricing.” If you already sell low-cost consumables by the pack, enter the actual pack price and name its contents (for example, “Pack of 10”). Stock and shipping weight must describe the same sellable pack, not one loose piece. This does not require you to change your prices or offer a new pack size.
- Enter the actual Stock quantity. Leaving it empty means unlimited stock, not “unknown.” You can set Low stock alert to flag when it needs restocking.
- Add Weight (lbs). It is required if your store uses Calculated (US zones) shipping, even when saving a draft. Optional package dimensions use inches.
- Add up to 8 photos, each JPEG, PNG or WebP and no larger than 8 MB. Photos are optional when saving; you can add them later through Edit. If your phone photo is HEIC/HEIF, export a JPEG, PNG or WebP copy first; renaming the extension does not convert it. For a file over 8 MB, resize or compress a copy and keep the original. Retry under Edit → Images on the saved draft, wait for the thumbnail and reload to confirm it saved; you do not need to create another product or finish Stripe to add photos.
- Select Save draft. Return to Products, filter by Draft, and use Edit to check the saved details. Open the item's More actions (⋯) menu: Set up Stripe or Set up shipping takes you to the requirement still missing. After completing it, return to this draft and choose Publish. Confirm its status changes to Active; completing setup alone does not publish the draft.
For stone sheets, choose Slab (stone sheet) instead. A slab's Price (USD) is the total amount charged for that slab; Show price as per sq ft changes the display only. Do not enter a per-square-foot rate as the slab's total price.
If your price sheet uses dollars per square foot, calculate the slab total first: length in inches × width in inches ÷ 144 × your price per sq ft. For example, a 120 × 60 inch slab is 50 sq ft. At an illustrative $20 per sq ft, enter 1000 in Price (USD), not 20. Enter its size as 304.8 × 152.4 cm in the slab dimensions. Use your actual measurements and selling price; this example is not a suggested rate. Save the draft and check both dimensions and the total under Products → Edit before publishing.
Find a saved draft when the dashboard still shows zero¶
Active products on the Dashboard counts published listings, not drafts. A zero there does not mean your saved product or imported catalog was lost.
- Open Products. If the list is empty, select Clear filters when shown; a previous search or Active filter can hide your drafts.
- Choose Draft in the status filter and select Filter. Search by the product name or SKU if needed, then open Edit on the matching item.
- Review that existing draft and finish the payment and shipping requirements before publishing it. Do not create or import another copy just because the Dashboard still shows zero active products.
If the item is absent from All statuses with the search field cleared, return to Online store to check the import result or request status before trying another import. An import request marked Received is a request for help, not confirmation that products have already been created.
Check availability before your first sale¶
In Products → Edit, review Stock quantity before publishing. A blank quantity (shown as ∞ in the product list) means unlimited stock. Enter 0 when nothing is available; zero prevents an order but does not hide an active listing. For a supply item, enter the number of sellable units or packs, using the same unit as its price and description. Select Save changes and reload to confirm the quantity.
Use Visibility to control whether buyers see the listing:
| What you need | Action | Where to find it later |
|---|---|---|
| Temporarily hide an active product while correcting it | Unpublish | Products → Draft → Filter |
| Keep a discontinued product off the marketplace without deleting it | Archive | Products → Archived → Filter |
| Offer a draft or archived product again | Review stock and price, then Publish | Products → Active → Filter |
Publishing still requires approval, payments and shipping to be ready. Restocking an item does not publish a draft or archived listing. Use Delete product only when you intend to remove it; it is not needed to pause sales.
Finish photos and review a draft¶
Open Products → Edit on the saved product. Product details and Images save separately:
- Correct the name, description, price and stock, then select Save changes.
- Scroll below that button to Images. Select Click to upload or drag & drop and choose one photo at a time. Wait for Uploading… to finish and for the thumbnail to appear. Uploads save immediately; they do not need Save changes.
- The first photo is the marketplace's main photo. Drag a thumbnail to the first position, or use its Move left and Move right arrows. Wait for Saving order… to finish. If an error appears, reload to check the saved order before trying again.
- To replace a photo, use Remove image and confirm, then upload the replacement. Removal saves immediately too. At the eight-photo limit, remove one before adding another; keep the original files so you can upload them again if needed.
- Reload the edit page and check the saved details and photos. Preparing photos does not publish a draft. When the listing is ready and payment/shipping setup is complete, use Visibility → Publish and check that the badge says Active.
Add slab sizes without duplicating your inventory¶
Open Products → New Product → Slab (stone sheet). Choose Catalog SKU for a repeatable material with stock, or Individual slab for one physical sheet (quantity is fixed at 1).
- Enter Material / color name, Stone type and Store category. For quartzite or another natural stone without its own type option, choose Natural stone, use Natural Stone as the store category, and identify the actual stone and color in the material name and description. Quartz is for engineered quartz, not quartzite. Check both selectors before saving: choosing a category can suggest a stone type, but that suggestion may not describe your slab (for example, Natural Stone can suggest Granite).
- Under Size variations, enter length and width in centimeters, then select Add size, or choose a preset. Convert inch measurements first (1 inch = 2.54 cm); do not enter inches in these fields.
- Choose at least one Thickness variation, also in centimeters. Select finishes only when you stock them; no finish selected means no finish label.
- Check Preview before saving. Every combination becomes a separate listing: one size with 2 cm and 3 cm thickness creates two listings. Adding Polished and Honed creates four, not one listing with choices.
- The entered price, freight, photos and stock apply to each generated listing. For one unique physical slab, select only its actual size, thickness and finish. If catalog variants have different prices or quantities, create them separately or review each under Products → Edit before publishing.
For your first slab, start with one combination and verify its details before adding the rest of your catalog. Use the import request under Bringing your catalog over if your existing spreadsheet is easier than entering each material by hand.
Set up shipping before publishing¶
Open Settings in the Supplier Portal and review these fields:
- Under Business address, enter your street address, city, two-letter state code and ZIP (five digits, or ZIP+4). Calculated shipping uses this ZIP as its origin. The separate Ship-from address (optional) section is an override for packing slips and carrier labels; leave it blank to use the business address.
- Under Shipping, choose Flat rate for one fee per order, or Calculated (US zones) for a zone-and-weight estimate. For calculated shipping, complete the business address and check the weights on your supply products. Carrier rates (Shippo) is marked Coming soon and cannot be selected yet.
- Review Flat shipping rate (USD) and Free shipping threshold (USD). Leave the threshold empty if you do not offer free shipping. Slab freight is set separately on each slab product. Flat freight per slab (USD) is charged for each slab purchased: an illustrative $150 freight rate on two slabs adds $300 to shipping. Leaving this field blank uses your store's flat shipping rate for each slab; entering 0 explicitly sets that slab's freight to zero. The store's free-shipping threshold applies to supplies, not slab freight.
- Select Save settings. Then open Dashboard → Shipping estimator, enter a destination state, ZIP and weight (or choose a sample product), and select Get estimate to check the result before buyers order.
You can prepare drafts while finishing this setup. If publishing reports an incomplete address, complete Business address in Settings, save, and return to Products to publish the draft.
Bringing your catalog over¶
Selling on WooCommerce, Shopify or Wix? Connect it under Online store and the catalog imports itself. Using something else (an ERP, a spreadsheet, a program on your computer)? Fill Using something else? We move it for you on the same page: what you use, whether you want it once or kept in sync, and an export if you have one. We reach you by e-mail; your requests and their status stay listed right below the form.
Import from an existing online store¶
- Open Online store and select WooCommerce, Shopify or Wix.
Enter your store's HTTPS address. For Shopify, use its
your-store.myshopify.com address without
www, not your custom domain. - Follow the credential instructions shown for that platform. Enter the requested API credentials in the connection fields, not in the migration request or an e-mail. If someone else manages your store, ask them to prepare these credentials.
- Choose a Default category if it fits your catalog; otherwise classify each product after import. Leave Publish new products automatically off to review the first import as drafts.
- Decide whether to enable Keep stock in sync. This lets a marketplace sale push the reduced stock quantity back to your original store; it is not just a display preference. Leave it off if you do not want that inventory write-back.
- Select Connect and import, read the result and check Products as listings arrive. Review names, prices, stock, weight and the main photo before publishing. A connection confirmation means the import has started, not that every item is ready.
Return to Online store to check Last import, the linked product count and any error shown. Import again refreshes linked products from the source store, so check source prices and stock before using it. Disconnect removes the store connection but keeps products already imported; it does not unpublish them. If you cannot obtain the credentials, use the import request below with an export or public catalog URL instead.
Recover a partial catalog import¶
If Online store reports that some products could not be imported, first check Products: the items that succeeded remain saved. Connected and a recent Last import do not mean the entire catalog finished successfully; read the error or warning below the linked-product count as well.
Keep the existing connection. Review the affected products in your source store and correct any problem described in the warning, then select Import again while the connection shows Connected. This refreshes products already linked to that connection and attempts the catalog again. It can also refresh source prices, descriptions and stock, so check those before retrying.
If the same error returns, or the connection shows Needs attention, use Using something else? We move it for you below to request help. Include the store URL, the error text and a few affected product names or SKUs; mention that part of the catalog is already imported. Do not send API keys or passwords. Avoid Disconnect as a retry step: it keeps your imported listings but removes the connection used to identify them on subsequent imports.
Publish products you already imported as drafts¶
Publish new products automatically applies to new listings only. Turning it on after an import, or finishing Stripe afterward, does not publish your existing drafts. Import again refreshes their source data; it does not activate them.
Open Products → Draft → Filter, review each item's price, stock, category and shipping details in Edit, then select Visibility → Publish when ready. Complete any payment or shipping setup requested and check for the Active badge. If the import reports that products need a category before automatic publishing, assign the appropriate category to those drafts and save before publishing them; you do not need to disconnect or import a second catalog.
Importing a slab catalog¶
The online-store connectors currently create Supply listings, even when the source store calls an item granite, quartz or a slab. Choosing a category does not turn an imported supply into a Slab listing with slab dimensions and per-slab freight. For a slab catalog, leave automatic publishing off and use the import request below so the source data can be reviewed before importing.
To start with one slab yourself, choose Products → New Product → Slab (stone sheet) and follow Add slab sizes without duplicating your inventory above. If you already imported stone sheets as supplies, keep those listings as drafts (or Unpublish active ones), then include their names or SKUs in your import request. Mention the existing import so it can be reviewed before adding another copy of the same stock. Do not publish both listings for one physical slab.
What to send with an import request¶
You can use your existing export; you do not need to rebuild it in a Stone Project template. CSV and Excel files are accepted, with an optional attachment up to 50 MB. The request is reviewed before the import or ongoing sync is arranged; uploading a file does not publish products.
- Open Online store and scroll to Using something else? We move it for you.
- In What do you use today?, name your spreadsheet, inventory program or website. Choose Bring it over once, Keep it in sync or Both, then say where the data lives. Choose Not sure if you do not know how to export it.
- If you have a product list, attach it as it is. Useful columns are product name, SKU, description, price (with currency), stock and photo links. For slabs, include material/color, length, width, thickness and the units used. Say whether each row is one unique slab or a catalog item with several units in stock.
- Use Anything we should know? to explain missing information or paste your public catalog URL if you have no export. Do not include passwords, payment details or customer records in a catalog file.
- Select Send request. Check the confirmation and Your requests below the form; the status can be Received, In progress, Done or Closed. The team follows up at your portal account's e-mail address.
After the catalog is imported, check the products' prices, stock, photos and slab dimensions in Products before publishing. Stripe and your chosen shipping settings must still be ready before buyers can order.

FAQ¶
Why don't I see Supply Store in the sidebar?
You need a fabricator company account and the Supply Store routes are under Supply Chain. Confirm your plan includes Pro features.
Why can't I check out?
Ask your admin to grant marketplace.purchase. Checkout also requires a valid shipping address.
Can I list products from the mobile app?
No — suppliers use the web portal. The app includes a banner with links to register or log in.
I started the Stripe setup and stopped. Do I have to start over?
No. Open Setup → Payments → Resume Stripe setup. The Dashboard may also show Finish Stripe setup. Stripe picks up where you left off and asks for what is still missing. You can prepare drafts while completing payment setup.
Why can't I publish a product?
Publishing requires an approved, active supplier account and completed Stripe setup (charges enabled). In Products → Edit → Visibility, Set up payments with Stripe replaces Publish until payments are ready. If you then see Complete shipping setup, follow it to Settings and complete your Business address for Calculated (US zones) shipping; a separate ship-from override is optional. Save your settings, return to the same draft and select Publish. You do not need to create the product again.
My application is pending. Can I do anything meanwhile?
Yes. Under Online store you can already connect WooCommerce, Shopify or Wix (the catalog comes in as drafts) or ask us to move it from any other system, such as a spreadsheet or an ERP. The Products page opens as soon as the account is approved.
Is the catalog public?
A read-only preview is on the marketing site. Purchasing requires signing in to the app.
